HOORAY!
We are so excited and couldn't be happier!
Baby #2 is on its way :)
We had our first doctors appointment today. I'll be 12 weeks this sunday.
We even got to have our first ultrasound. That sweet little heartbeat looks healthy and strong. (S)he was kicking and doing somersaults all over the place, and kept pulling his (or her) tiny hand up by his (or her) face. (S)he is 6.5 cm from head to bottom :)
Isn't (s)he cute?!
We love this l i t t l e baby so much already!
We feel very blessed.
The big expected day?
January 22, 2012
If we had to pick...we'd say it's a boy.
But that is probably just because we don't have one yet :)

Just for my records...
My first ever positive home pregnancy test. May 20, 2011. I was happy to see that they "actually work" ;) and had to document the happy occasion.
I took it while Jake was at work so I could surprise him. I was pretty sure I was going to see the + and not the - (I just "had that feeling" and had been feeling very similar to how I did when I was pregnant with Molly)...so I sat and watched rather than left the room. I was so happy when I saw both pink lines. I cried. Molly hugged me and laughed. Then I cried, and laughed some more-and she laughed again...etc.
We are all so happy!
It was fun to tell Jake with Molly. Molly was the one who actually told him. She took him the test and said baby :) (I actually waited until he got home from work...actually I waited even l o n g e r because we were with some friends visiting temple square and he met up with us after work. )
It was worth the wait.
We couldn't stop smiling.
We told our families last weekend :)
I have been crazy tired and pretty sick these first few weeks but am finally feeling much better now. I am grateful I only have 1 week left til I am done with my first trimester!
I am already getting big. Kinda crazy. (My sisters claim they were pretty sure I was pregnant the few days before I told them.)
Molly does point to my tummy and say baby sometimes. Just today, she pulled my shirt up, pointed at my belly button and said, "baby" then gave it a big kiss.
(The first time we told her there was a baby in mommy's tummy-she pulled up my shirt, peered into my belly button, poked at it, looked again, and then looked at us (eyebrows furrowed) and gave us an "are you crazy? There is no baby in there" look.)
She is going to be a great big sister :)
