pneumonia

Poor little Molly has been so sick the past couple of weeks. She was finally doing better on Saturday and by Sunday was sick again. Fever of 104.5...not breathing well...bad shape all around. We took her in to get checked out. After getting a couple chest x rays *see pictures below* she was diagnosed with pneumonia. Poor thing!
She has been fascinated with the thermometer. She likes to put it in her mouth (for 2 seconds) and in ours. And then yesterday I found her taking all of her stuffed animals' (and baby's) temperatures.
What a cutie!

Photo of a orange and black striped bicycle mounted on a pedestal with a blue board mounted at a 90 degree angle behind the seat and a baby mobile suspended from the device in front of the rider. A plush stuffed Tigger is seated on the bicycle and restrained on the blue board via an elastic band.
The "bike" you hope you never see.

ok. this awful device is called a pigg-o-stat. the picture (not molly...I found it online) doesn't show how traumatizing it really is. you sit them on a mini bike seat, pull their arms above their head, strap them in really tight (her face was half way smooshed against the plastic), and leave them there while the xray tech does his thing.
It was so sad to have to leave her in there while she was feeling so sick and just watch her cry.

Anyway...It's been rough. And we hope she gets better soon. After a long, sad morning she is finally asleep. I had to watch some videos to make me happy :)
Here are a few...

I like to fake laugh

and dance

and read

and hang with uncle Davis. He is the only person I wave to EVERY time I see him come into or out of the room.

Oh poor thing. I hope she gets all over it soon. That evil chest xray thing is worse than it looks, Jaren had to get that done to him when he was sick....still gives me nightmares. He was so sad, and you can't do anything about it. We'll be excited to see you in a few weeks.

Oh no! I'm sorry that is terrible.
Cora and I just watched the videos, Cora and Molly need to meet, I think they will be good friends. Cora thought she was pretty funny in the dancing one.
Hope all is well.

I'm so sad for little Molly, but really happy to see these videos. What a spunky little thing-- so much like her mom. I miss you guys-- give her hugs for me.

I hate those chest x-rays! I remember when Cooper was about Molly's age and he had to have that torture. Just seeing those pictures brought back terrible memories. So...thank you for posting some cute videos to help me forget:) She's a doll! I hope she gets better fast.
